6. Newsletter

Take a look at the project outputs

The project INNO4IMPACT aimed at establishing concrete resources for increasing the social impact of youth work on the international platform, supporting institutions and experts working in this field with quality management and innovative methods and for sustainable studies in the field.

The main objectives of the project were:

  • To develop a scientific approach to intercultural communication and understanding, including general findings on the skills needed by young people and youth workers in particular, and developing guidelines for training. At the same time to collect transnationally information on best practice specially to integrate different cultural, generational and gender aspects on the issue.
  • To provide information on how to develop the competences needed to be able to encourage and motivate young people in exploring diversity as an important value and foster their intercultural understanding and skills in communication and conflict resolution.
  • To offer a special possibility for training institutions involving blended learning concepts in their curricula.
  • To promote – via distance learning - the educational resources and tools to a broader audience, especially to targets living in remote communities for which F2F trainings might not be that easily accessible.

After 30 months working together on the development of project outputs, the partnership has finally achieved the objectives set at the beginning of our shared path.

Inno4impact meeting

The partnership of INNO4IMPACT developed the following products:

  • The first output titled IO1 “COMPARATİVE RESEARCH AND ASSESSMENT OF CURRENT NEEDS, STUDY REPORT ON YOUTH WORK” was completed under the leadership of Innsbruck Univeristy (Austria). Based on comparative research and desk research reports on youth work at national level, an international report on youth work was prepared with the partner countries. This overall report provides the general and comparative data on the situation of disadvantaged young people and youth social work in the participating countries, as well as examples of tools and best practices in this field.
  • The second intellectual output named “DESIGNING TRAINING MODULES IN YOUTH WORK AND PILOTING” aimed to design training modules in youth work and for the piloting. As the lead partner of the ouputs, Centro per Lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci designed the theory of youth work and shared a draft design of modules and sub-modules to all partners. The output deepens practice & targets, providing a complete and exhaustive overview for youth workers. Specifically, the manual is divided into the following 3 main modules: Module 1 - Introduction to youth work; Module 2 - Youth work in practice, and Module 3 - Working with disadvantaged groups.
  • The third Intellectual output named “TRAINING VIDEOS FOR BLENDED LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION” is the collection of training videos to complement the modules and to underline the theoretical input with videos. The videos offer a special possibility for training institutions involving blended learning concepts in their curricula. Please visit the Youtube link to watch the training videos.
  • DESIGNING A DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMME AND LEVEL5 PROGRAMME IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH WORK this is the fourth intellectual output of the project. The course was compiled as part of the Inno4Impact project that aims to increase the quality, attractiveness and effectiveness of working with young people through digital tools and programmes.
  • Last but not least, intellectual output 5 named “GUIDELINES FOR INCLUSION OF THE METHODOLOGY IN SETTINGS FOR YOUTH”, aimed to facilitate the mainstreaming of the project’s suggested methodology by providing recommendations to decision makers for the implementation on a meta-level.
