This document is a programme framework that aims to help the mentors to roll out the CASYE mentoring programme.
Thanks to the background analysis and the study of the good practices, we mapped out the competencies needed in the creative and cultural sector to develop a social economy enterprise, and, from there, elaborated a creative mentoring programme to foster creativity, social entrepreneurship and soft skills for beneficiaries.
The model will be useful for mentors who assist both individual entrepreneurs and social enterprises which can develop their activity and include social innovation in the business model and tackle social cohesion in local communities through cultural activities.
The framework identifies the most important items that need to be addressed and acknowledged when mentoring a young person in becoming a social entrepreneur in the field of CCIs.
The CASYE ecosystem online map is here! Thanks to this map, you will be able to access many existing social enterprises and social initiatives in the cultural and creative field as well as many stakeholders supporting the development of such initiatives.
In particular, this map showcases two kinds of information:
Good practices: the map identifies good practices of social entrepreneurs, social enterprises and/or social initiatives in the creative and cultural field;
Stakeholders: the map presents the CASYE ecosystem that is based on common values and views the same vision to offer support to youth entrepreneurs in the creative European cultural and social sectors.

For each good practice and stakeholder, you can find a short description and a link to their website.
In September took place the CASYE Training of Trainers (ToT) in Milan.
The objective of this ToT was for the participants to get familiar with the outcomes of IO 1, in particular the Research, the collection of Good Practices and the CASYE Mentoring Programme Model Framework. The training was a mix of frontal learning, practical exercises, study visits and workshops.
On the last day, the CASYE partnership organized a co-creation workshop to draft the CASYE policy recommendations on how to better support young people in becoming social entrepreneurs in the cultural and creative sector.
Before the CASYE framework, the partnership has conducted:
A Research on the social economy landscape, the social and economic situation, the Creative and Cultural industry presence and on the identification of existing models for social entrepreneurs and enterprises in Spain, Italy, Belgium and the UK.
A Collection of good practices of social enterprises in the Creative and Cultural Industry. A total of 15 case studies at the transnational European level on best entrepreneurial development stories, including transfer of knowledge, are available.
CASYE (Cultural and Social Youth Entrepreneurship) project aims at supporting youth entrepreneurship in the creative sector through the development and piloting a social economy model, with an emphasis on empowering young people with fewer opportunities (social obstacles, geographical obstacles and/or economic obstacles).
